10/26/2013 Insulating Mats, confirming IS:15652-2006 & IEC:61111-2009 are meant for human safety from electric shock, working with electronic devices. These are thin mats made of elastomeric Synthetic Material such as Rubber, Thermoplastics.

Precautions while selecting appropriate matting:
1. Should be free from any foreign matter like fabric, metal bids, entrapped air, bristles, cuts.
2. Self extinguishing on fire lighting.
3. Paste able & washable.
4. Must posses high level of Tensile Strength.
5. Service life should be at least 3years (though a bi-yearly visual inspection is must).
