The company is a Star Export House and achieved the status in a very short span upon the establishment of the firm. Our export destinations are Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, North Korea, South Korea and Czech Republic and our import arrivals are from Canada, Pakistan, Australia, Sri Lanka and other European countries.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

The export of Construction Materials to Maldives commenced upon the establishment of the firm and rose to heights by 2005. We are supplying the following materials to Maldives.

Aggregate: 6 mm, 12 mm, 16-20 mm, 20 mm, 40 mm

M-Sand, Stone Dust, Steel Bars, Plywood, Bituminous Tar and Polyurethane Foams.

General Cargos & Perishables

Ever since 2005, our exports had been gradually increasing consecutive years and the number of our clients had been growing rapidly. Our major customers in Maldives are the key-players in the trading of Construction Materials in Male and various construction companies. We have supplied for various project cargoes of the post-Tsunami projects for various islands. The goodwill earned from the export of Aggregate & River Sand to Maldives fetched us buyers from Andaman & Nicobar Islands for their requirements in the island.

We became the major supplier for Andaman & Nicobar Islands and we contribute about 80 % of the total annual exports of Construction Materials from Tuticorin Port to Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The export of Construction Materials from Tuticorin to Maldives and Andaman figured to 250,000 MT per annum which made us the Pioneers in the supply of Construction Materials.

WAREHOUSING

Our own warehousing and open yard delivers 100% reliability and safety for our cargos. We are geographically located at the Junction of Harbour-Express Way & Tiruchendur Road. To obtain the highest level of operational efficiency we follow global standardized warehouse systems and unique supply chain processes.

Our salient features are:

1. Secured units for the storage of export - import goods in bulk and break-bulk.
2. Just 6 kms from the port with the best transportation freight rate for cargo to the Port.
3. Closed Ware House Area of 41000 sqft, 12000 sqft and 7500 sqft
4. Open Yard of about 450,000 sq ft for the storage of Construction Materials
5. Well equipped Customs Bonded Ware House with 10 acres for Timber ard.
6. We have 2 automated weigh bridges of 120 MT for warehouse inward and outward Cargo weighment.

The advantage of having own yard of immense area near the Port is one of the reason for our achievement in the export of Construction Materials. We are able to store huge amount of bulk cargo and also stack the packed cargo for more than 15,000 MT in our yard. The entire cargo being ready right before the commencement of the vessel loading has made it easier for us to complete the vessel loading rapidly. The skilled and experienced personnel at our yard for the supervision of cargo packing and to monitor the quality of cargo and the quantity of cargo in each bags resulted satisfactory shipment for our customers.

LOGISTICS

The transportation of export cargo by own means has been a great benefit for the swift loading of the vessel. We are well equipped with all requirements to handle the transportation of cargos within the timeframe. We have our own state-of-the-cargo handling equipments such as Pay loaders, Trucks, Tippers, Trailors, Heavy Duty Mobile Cranes, Hydra Cranes and JCB.

Our logistics division is well equipped with experienced personnel and specialized industrialized experts in the field of transportation. We have our own Mechanical and Automobile engineering workshop to carry out regular vehicle maintenance for our fleet and heavy equipments. This avoids any dependencies that could hinder our smooth operations.


SHIPPING

We serve 365 days of shipping services to our valuable customers at Tuticorin, Chennai and Karaikal port. Our successful shipping operations comprises of Ship Agency, Stevedoring, Bulk Handling, Chartering, Ship Brokering & Ship-Stores Supplies.

Over many years in the shipping industry we have been witnessed for our excellent Stevedoring at Tuticorin Port. We have been handling diverse cargos such as Aggregate, River Sand, Coal, Raw-Cashew, Timber Logs, Salt, Maize, Bauxite, Fly Ash, Sugar, Raw-Sugar, Wheat, Fertilizers and etc. both in bulk and break-bulk form.

We hold the record for the loading of highest tonnage of Construction Materials per day [4657 MT] at Tuticorin Port in the vessel Mv.Hiya Builder which was created on 4.3.2009 surpassing our earlier record of [4348 MT] created in 3.10.2008 in the same vessel. The record is yet to be surpassed till date.
