Considering the environment and the human health, we have to keep in mind the
impacts and causes of the untreated waste water. It impacts our environment and
human health very negatively. It causes oxygen exhaustion. Diseases like
cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid and polio are mainly caused
by untreated water. Also because of the improper management of the urban,
industrial & agricultural process, the wastewater swallows hundreds of
millions of people’s health dangerously. Natural existence of chemicals in
groundwater also leads to diseases, such as arsenic & fluoride, while other
chemicals, may be elevated in drinking-water as a result of discharge from water supply components in
contact with drinking-water. Each year
averagely 829 000 of people are dying because of diarrhea. Unsafe drinking
water is one of the main causes. Though it is preventable, each year among 297
000 deaths children aged less than 5 years could have been avoided if these
hazardous risk factors have been addressed. If water is deficient people may
decide hand washing is not a priority. The key purpose
of treating waste water is to completely remove the dangerous particles as much
as possible the effluent is discharged back to the environment.
