In a world where success is often measured by personal achievements, there are rare individuals like Kanchan who redefine it—through simplicity, devotion and quiet ambition. For the past four years, Kanchan has been more than just a teacher at GoodWorks—she's been a mentor, a role model, and a true source of inspiration to dozens of young minds. Her journey is proof that simplicity and ambition can beautifully coexist. Despite her own rigorous preparation for competitive exams, Kanchan spends every evening at our learning centre, teaching Science and Social Studies—but her impact goes far beyond textbooks. She is our all-rounder teacher, always ready to teach any subject, always present with new ideas for strategy and policy and always thinking about the betterment of our kids—even during late-night phone calls. Her humble and polite nature makes her deeply approachable, while her dedication makes her truly admirable. At such a young age, she possesses the wisdom and patience of someone far beyond her years. Even in the face of personal struggles, Kanchan never lets anything overshadow her mission. She knows the power of education—because she’s fighting for her own future too. And in doing so, she is shaping not just young learners, but the leaders of tomorrow. Girls must look to Kanchan to see how one can lead a life grounded in kindness and driven by purpose and know that you can be both gentle and strong, simple and ambitious, humble and impactful.
