Making Motorcycling Safer: One Innovation at a time   The TVS RTR 310 was the showstopper at the recently concluded Vehicle and Fleet Safety workshop hosted by Global New Car Assessment Programme in collaboration with Institute of Road Traffic Education (IRTE) in Delhi. Experts at the workshop weighed in on importance of ABS (anti-lock braking system) while highlighting the large number of fatalities on Indian roads.     ABS has the potential to bring fatalities down by almost 30%. The RTR 310 has a version of ABS that is the absolute gold standard. Equipped with the German company’s proprietary Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) with a 6D Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), RTR 310 is the first sub 400cc motorcycle to feature the RTDSC technology (Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control).   The RTDSC feature, powered by MSC, goes beyond conventional ABS. Using a series of sensors it acts like an electronic stability program (ESP) for motorcycles—analyzing acceleration, lean angles, and braking forces 100 times per second. It helps riders maintain stability in critical moments, especially while braking or accelerating on a bend.    TVS Motor Company has always prioritized safety and the RTR 310 is proof that it is not just lip service.
