About us
The Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) was established under MUIT Uttar Pradesh Act No. 31 of 2001 Notification no. 573 dated 06 October 2001. The University’s Main Campus is at Sitapur Road, Lucknow, and another educational oasis located in the blissful greens of Maharishi Nagar at Noida. The University is reputed to disseminate quality education. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji was the first Chancellor of the University. MUIT has been recognized and included in the list of Universities, maintained by the UGC under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University offers Diploma in Engineering, B. Tech., M. Tech., BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, B. Com., M. Com., B. Sc., M.Sc., D. Pharma, B. Pharma, B. A.(Hons.), M. A. & Ph. D. Courses. The selected programs are offered to the students at Lucknow Campus. To further assist the student's audio-visual rooms are being set up on both the campuses so that students can listen to educational programmes broadcasted through Satellite and Internet and also to exploit multi-media for learning. The University has been established in the lap of nature in sprawling 31 acres plot of land with well-designed internal roads, spacious lawns and a Botanical Garden with a treasure of medicinal plants, far from pollution of industry yet well connected by air, rail and road.

The Maharishi School of Law hosted a farewell party, "Farewell 2024," for the BA/BBALLB Batch 2019-2024 and LLB Batch 2021-2024 on May 7, 2024, in the auditorium at MUIT, Noida Campus. It began with a traditional ceremony called the Guru Puja, followed by the distribution of gifts and a cake-cutting ceremony. The farewell came out to be a nostalgic cycle of fond memories of the students. It was a blend of overwhelming emotions, and as the students looked back on their time together, it was nothing but an enthralling experience. The venue was beautifully decorated, and everyone shared laughs and memories. The students shared their cherished moments, which made everyone feel nostalgic. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) refer to the legal rights that protect intellectual works in commerce. The Maharishi Law School Student Bar Forum organized an event for this momentous occasion. Maharishi Law School was indeed honoured to have Mr. Johny Solomon Raj and Mr. Bhanu Dhingra, who are both professionals in the field of intellectual property rights. They both discussed their experiences and presented an intriguing and informative idea that included both general insight and IPR comprehension, enhancing the event's value.
