#SixYearsAtYesMadam The first of us, and is still holding the fort, Vikas Goyal, who heads the logistics at YesMadam is one of the very few people, who was convinced in building the idea of a home salon. A problem solver, he has the ability to find ways through difficult situations. We started from Noida, and expanded to 55+ cities, and Vikas made sure the smooth transit of products across India. Six years at YesMadam, he recounts, “we started from a dingy room, curating products for just thirty partners, but today, not only that 8 x 8 space has turned into a massive, 5000 square fit warehouse—the partners have increased to twenty five hundred plus. They frequent that very place for the products, which are used in their everyday home salon bookings.” Vikas’s journey from skill to success is not an ordinary one. Very soon after the inauguration of the first warehouse, he found himself at the forefront of planning out seven warehouses across India; and he did it in style! Fun fact about Vikas: Unofficially, he holds the position of a story teller, his imagination runs big; but he cherishly says, “the best anecdote of my life will always be building YesMadam from the scratch.”

“My beauty parlour was shut down during lockdown, and then YesMadam happened!”   Renuka, who is known by her first name only met with the same ordeal like hundreds of others. Coming from a poverty stuck background, she went on to achieve big but that success didn’t happen overnight.   Always wanting to try new things, Renuka, learned the art of salon services at the age of 15; by the time she could eat the fruits of her skills, she was hurriedly married off! She wore the cap of a housewife and dedicated her life to her family, but finances were still a concern.   She protested and joined a local salon where she was making 3k a month, which didn’t solve the problem, but gave her a new direction. She worked hard, and bought the very salon, she started with; however destiny had other plans.   Lockdown was declared, and unable to pay the rent, she had to shut down her salon only to meet with uncertainty. Little did she know that it wasn’t the end, it was the beginning of a life she had always desired.   Calling it the blessing of Guru Ji, she laughingly remembers, “a friend of mine introduced me to YesMadam, and that was the best day of my life.” She went on to say that “Aditya Arya, Co Founder of YesMadam, won my confidence, and I became a part of YesMadam's family.”   She rose through the ranks and achieved the status of a Gold Partner at YesMadam. Her earnings gradually increased from 3k to 70k a month. When asked what she loves most about her journey, she said, “शहर की गलियों में घूमते वक्त मिलने वाला सम्मान किसी भी सोने-चांदी की चीज से बेहद अनमोल है।“   We are grateful that we could create a platform which helps women like Renuka to take command and live their dream. #HumansOfYesMadam
