    When evaluating a new solution, B2B buyers consider not only the benefits of the new solution...but also the ease/difficulty of switching from their existing solution. Yet most B2B vendors focus only on the benefits of their solution on their website, or worse...their features. They completely ignore the cost of switching for the buyer. Why? Because it seems counter-productive. I mean, why would you want to bring up anything that creates doubt in the buyer's mind, right? Wrong. Your customers are going to have those doubts, regardless of whether you bring them up or not. It's a psychological bias called 'loss-aversion'. Bigger the investment, the stronger the bias. When you address customer objections on your website, you're not making it harder for them to buy from you. You're making it easier. B2C brands like Apple do a great job of it, as you can see. They understand their target customers and know that a lot of them currently use an Android phone. They understand that switching to iPhone from their current phone is a psychological barrier for a lot of people. So their website tackles that objection/concern head-on...in big bold letters. In fact, they have an entire page dedicated to guiding users on how to switch and the benefits of switching. This is buyer-centric marketing. And it comes from a buyer-centric brand mindset. Unfortunately, this mindset is missing in most B2B orgs, where there's a far greater emphasis on the company, its products, and its accolades rather than its buyers and understanding what matters to them. The B2B marketing landscape is changing. Brands that are going to win in the B2B space are the ones that make buyers the hero of their story, not themselves.     Your sales response time is critical to the effectiveness of your marketing programs. Your prospect, in many instances, has booked a sales call/demo with your company AND your competitors at the same time (especially if they did research online). The person who contacts the prospect the fastest has a huge opportunity to set the right frame for the sales conversation. Not only that but you get a chance to speak to the person when they are actually trying to resolve their pain. Each hour/day lowers your odds of closing the deal. If you take 48 hours or longer, you're likely putting that lead into the "No response" category. Bad follow-up can be the reason why a good growth channel is overlooked. Act accordingly.
